Hello Traveler

Digital Meditation

I observed differences between East Asian and Western modes of communication and chose dance as a metaphor to explore them. Working with East Asian dancers, the project examines how movement, gesture, and silence function as culturally specific forms of language.

The work unfolds through a publication and interactive movement, reflecting on how communication has evolved differently across cultures.
The project was selected as part of It’s Nice That – Ones to Watch 2025.

about.

In the digital age, algorithms constantly shape our thoughts, opinions, and attention, often leading to mental and physical fatigue.

This project explores the idea of digital detox through digital interaction. I designed an interactive text-based meditation book built around ten self-reflective questions, allowing readers to engage in meditation through reading, writing, and response—both physically and digitally.

To address physical well-being, the project draws inspiration from the health benefits of fruits, using them as visual motifs to represent nourishment and detoxification.
